HCAA November 2023 Adelaide General Meeting
Notice is hereby given to all Members of the HCAA that our Adelaide November General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 21 Novemebr 2023 at the Adelaide Pavilion.
5:30pm sharp: General Meeting opens
6pm: Welcome and Committee Report
6.20pm: General Meeting closes. A chance to socialise
6.30pm-6.50pm: PVC Sustainability Initiatives
Chris Portelli from Vinidex will be presenting their ambitious sustainability targets and explain how sustainability is at the heart of what Vinidex does. With this, he'll present some of their forward thinking sustainability initiatives including new engineered PVC frames for transport of PVC pipes and PVC recycling program.
Chris will also touch on some of Vinidex’s new range of commercial drainage products including low height floor waste gully and new PVC Stack Aerator (Converge).
7-7.20pm: Water Demand update
Brendan Josey and James Gong from Deakin University will be presenting an update on the HCAA's water demand investigation research project. This will include a recap on cold and heated water consumption in monitored buildings as well as the HCAA's newly developed water demand calculator! The calculator is a free web-based tool that provides an updated and more accurate method to estimate the 99th percentile (peak) demand in residential buildings.
8pm: Meeting closes and time to socialise.
