He'll be discussing why to do these tests and how to do them.
7.40-8pm: DIN EN 1988-300: A superior standard for drinking water installations
Sven Lemme from Viega, will be presenting on DIN EN 1988-300. Here's a snippet from Sven:
It is widely recognised that designing to current Australian standards deliver pipe sizing that is generally oversized and therefore does not reflect the modern design standards in the plumbing industry.
At Viega we believe the most efficient design standard to follow for drinking water hygiene is DIN EN 1988-300. During this presentation we will point out the challenges of maintaining drinking water quality, how to solve them with proper solutions plus a brief overview of DIN EN 1988-300 key design principles.
8.15pm Meeting closes
