HCAA April 2026 Newcastle General Meeting

Our HCAA Newcastle April 2026 General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22 April 2026, commencing 6pm at Merewether Surfhouse., Newcastle.

6pm: General meeting opens for socialising

6:30pm sharp: General Meeting starts – Welcome (Shaun Wallace)

6.50pm

Presenter: Nathan Davidson, Waterproofing Integrity

Nathan Davidson, Waterproofing Consultant at Waterproofing Integrity will be sharing some insights into the proposed changes, impacting hydraulic services, within the NCC 2025 Volume 1.

7.30pm

Presenter: Nick Halliday, CNA Design Studio 

Nick Halliday, Architect at CNA Design Studio, will provide a presentation covering the basic principles of passive fire detailing, with specific reference to the Design and Building Practitioners Act.  

8.10pm

Presenter: A third presenter will be announced in the coming days!

8.30pm: Lucky door prize, followed by socialising

9.00pm: Meeting closes
