The Australian Building Codes Board has released the National Construction Code (NCC) 2025.
As we understand it the BCA Volumes 1 and 2 will be adopted as follows:
- from 1 May 2026 in the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia
- from 1 May 2027 in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
- Northern Territory will not adopt the 2025 edition
As we understand it the PCA Volumes 3 will be adopted as follows:
- from 1 May 2026 in the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania , South Australia and Western Australia
- from 1 May 2027 in Queensland and New South Wales.
- Northern Territory will not adopt the 2025 edition
