Vincent Ryan is a Canberra-based hydraulic engineer and co-founder of Pinnacle Design Consulting. With over 17 years of experience in the hydraulic services industry, Vincent has led the design and delivery of complex projects containing sanitary plumbing, trade waste, stormwater, domestic water supply, gas, and fire services across the ACT and NSW.

He began his career with Northrop Engineers and later held senior roles at WSP and Plumb Design before launching Pinnacle in 2023. Vincent combines technical rigour with practical site awareness, ensuring his designs are not only compliant but buildable. His work spans healthcare, education, residential, aged care, and commercial developments, with notable projects including The Canberra Hospital upgrades, ANU College of Law, Weston Creek Walk-in Centre, Gugan Gulwan Youth Aboriginal Accommodation Building, and numerous ACT school projects. He is adept in carrying out audits for trade waste, roof gutters, project feasibility and master planning.

Vincent holds a Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design (TafeQLD) and an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (CIT Canberra). He is a registered Design Practitioner with NSW Fair Trading and a full member of the HCAA.

Vincent is an investigation specialist. Weather it involve lifting pit lids, inspecting ceilings, or working closely with locators/surveyors, his detail orientated approach is reflected in his documentation, which is highly coordinated and well considered.

Vincent is known for his collaborative approach, detailed coordination, and strong relationships with local authorities including Access Canberra, Icon Water, ACTF&R and Jemena. Whether tackling new builds or remedial works, he brings a passion for functionality and efficiency to every project.
