Continued Professional Development (CPD)
The HCAA encourages its members to take industry appropriate training courses in order to maintain up-to-date technical skills and knowledge of processes, technology and legislation.
Our members’ professional knowledge is continually advanced, such that they meet the changing needs and expectations of society and the construction industry.
As you may be aware, CPD requirements are changing across Australia, and individuals are now responsible for tracking their own CPD in accordance with their state’s specific regulations.
Members are encouraged to track their CPD points and we have created a free Microsoft Excel template to help members stay on track – you can find this in your Member Portal. You may need to modify the template to align with your state’s specific requirements, but we hope it serves as a helpful starting point.

CPD events are held throughout the year. The events generally consist of a number of industry speakers who present information on a wide range of topics from new code requirements through to medical gases and fire protection.
