NSW and QLD Legislation Changes 2021 - Online Meeting
We are excited to announce that the HCAA will be holding a joint industry webinar on Wednesday 02 June 2021, from 12pm-1.30pm (AEDT) to discuss the latest impacts of legislation changes in QLD and NSW. All attendees will receive 1 CPD point for their attendance.
Timetable:
12pm: NSW – Legislation changes 2020-2021
The Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 commences on 01 July 2021 and will introduce new obligations for professionals working on Class 2 buildings. Nick Soden, President of the HCAA NSW, will outline what these changes mean and what can we expect both now and further off into the future.

12:30pm: QLD – Legislation changes 2020-2021
AHSCA QLD President - Chris Tritton, will be giving us insights into recent changes to QLD legislation and what they mean for us as consultants. He will also discuss some of the requirements of Councils when submitting documents for approval. These can vary from Council to Council; however, he will deal particularly with those closer to the border, ie. Gold Coast and Brisbane City Councils.
